Some of us find strength from words, whether it be an eye opening novel, a voice of experience, a song that almost makes you feel like it's been written for you, or a movie that coincidentally reflects your mind and life ... We need strength, we need reassurance, we need love and we need honesty. Simple, right? ... Or is it?
There becomes a point when you question your needs/expectations and begin to think too much, but is it that easy to ignore your irrationalities? Are your irrationalities created by your mind or has the energy released from a situation teased your thoughts to enhance negatively?
Feelings are scary, they're natural, but we can torture ourselves into manipulating our once positive feelings into something we don't want to feel or assume.
Why do we do this to ourselves? Is it due to the scars that our pasts have left behind? Or is it the need for reassurance?
Is it the want to be the 'everything' for the person that you thought you'd found worthy enough to have all of you? When that is not apparent and there's no reassuring involved, why do we feel unwanted? It should not be that way. Maybe our negativeness and fear is what creates the situation in the first place.
Honesty and caring creates trust, we should trust those that are honest and believe that what is said is true, if it's a lie, then that particular person isn't the person you thought they were.
Give your heart to those that care for it, those that really want it, don't let the scars of your past or theirs be a barrier to happiness.
Don't want or expect too much, don't rush love, it can't be rushed in a genuine fashion.
Strength is inside ourselves and only by keeping that strength can you be all you want to be.
Say goodbye to those that harm your strength before you become weak, which you are not.
